MS Student Testimony about ‘ MS Career Research & Decision Making’, May 28, 2025 In my opinion, my learning experience was more constructive and useful than many other classes I have taken. The formatting of the course was practically perfect, the units were placed in chronological order of when you would need to use them, and it was useful to build on previous knowledge. I appreciated the content and the ability to answer questions inside of the reading, learn vocabulary terms, and present ideas and goals of my future. I believe that the ability to jump ahead faster than others is very helpful because you don’t have to learn and restudy things you already know. No one is holding you down.
I liked the assessments, they were like small refreshers on the unit and they made great study tools in the mid-term and final exams. I felt a little rushed with the timer (in my exam) though, which is ok. I did however get bored when there was nothing to do, and I really did not like listening to the ted-talks.
One of my favorite things we were assigned was making a poster about CTSO’s (Career and Technical Student Organizations) and their missions, chapters, and main goals. I also liked when in Unit 5 we learned about different Health Science Careers. This was an overall exceptional course.
